Art has always been Anne’s passion. After teaching Elementary Art in South Dakota, Anne retired to be closer to her grandkids in Wisconsin. Drawing inspiration from the subjects in front of her and lending imagination, her watercolors are charged with passion and imagination. Her love for flowers, birds and nature can be found in all of her work. Anne’s work can be found at The Garden in Neenah, Wisconsin.
Anne believes that bringing art into a person‘s life enriches their visual perception of the world around them. Anne is a former elementary art teacher from South Dakota and has taught at the Menasha Neenah YMCA, the Menasha Senior Center and the Menasha public library plus classes at The Garden! She also volunteers at the Lake Edge Learning Center with 4 year olds! Anne enjoys exploring all forms of art. She loves working with kids as well as adults. She believes that all of us can be great artists. Whether you are completely new to Painting, lack confidence, want to loosen up your painting style or simply dream of creating beautiful art, you’ll find taking a class with Anne exciting.

My name is Yvonne Kett. I grew up in Appleton and then went to Nursing school in Milwaukee. I worked as an RN in a number of settings including hospital nursing and home health care. I moved back to the Appleton area in 1997 and then to Neenah in 2023. I have always been involved in various crafts such as knitting and crocheting, which I now do for various charity groups. I developed a special interest in basket weaving and have now been weaving for many years. I have worked with different materials including natural fibers such as willow, grasses and other plant material, as well as pine needles and most commonly I work with reed. I utilize many native American designs in my work. Giovonniescreations@gmail.com
